Drew Myers
President

Drew Myers Drew Myers is president of Alumni for Life. Myers holds an undergraduate degree in political science from Indiana University, and an MBA from Xavier University. Upon receiving his undergraduate degree, Myers was commissioned a second lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. He graduated from the Marine Corps Basic School in the top 5 percent of his class, and from the Artillery Officer's Course in the top 10 percent. He served as a platoon commander and later as an executive officer in charge of a 150-man unit in various overseas assignments. After a successful tour in his artillery unit, Myers was sent to recruiting duty. As an executive officer in Cincinnati, he supervised 40 recruiters. He planned and executed recruiting programs in 414 high schools in the attainment of 1200 enlistments. Over three years, he ranked first among nine peers in the Eastern United States on numerous evaluations. While in the Marine Corps, he received the Navy Achievement Medal, the Navy Commendation Medal, and the Honorable Order of St. Barbara.

Myers left the service in 1993, joining a military-to-civilian recruiting firm in Cincinnati, and opening their local office. As an account executive, Myers was the top producer among nine sales professionals, producing 25 percent of the company's gross revenues. In 1994, Myers joined a sales performance improvement company that provided professional services for many of the nation's largest corporations. He was promoted from inside manager to national account manager to vice president of sales in just over two years, and in 1998, was promoted to Senior Vice President. While at this consulting firm, Myers introduced a horizontal growth strategy that led to the establishment of RecruitMilitary. Myers tripled revenues year over year by hiring, training, and directing recruiters and account managers. Myers left the Cincinnati firm in 2000 to join Perot Investments, reporting directly to Ross Perot. There, he served as vice president of business development for a project to explore the viability of an e-commerce business serving the military audience. Also in 2000, Myers bought out the consulting firm's recruiting operation. In 2001, he completed his assignment with the Perot organization and began to devote all his efforts to RecruitMilitary. Alumni for Life was established in 2004, and combines the training, recruiting, and technical skills and experiences of Myers and his team.
